Right now there is a lot happening at Bjärefågel, and we therefore need to increase our staff. We can offer exciting part-time work in the evenings for those of you who want to boost your income a little or who already have a job. We do not require any special skills from those applying; however, we want you to be kind, curious, and a night person. The work shifts are scheduled on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Bjärefågel is located at the tip of the Bjäre Peninsula and is engaged in sustainable chicken farming. In our premises, we slaughter, cut up, process and pack our premium chicken, before delivering it to our customers who are wholesalers, stores and restaurants.
We work in teams of three to five people per shift. Together we help maintain a high work pace, working carefully and methodically. Today, our team consists of both men and women of different ages and with varying nationalities. To best help you become part of the team, you need to be able to communicate in Swedish and get to work without public transport because they do not operate on our premises.
Information about the service: loading of chicken
It is extremely important to have a respectful attitude towards animals as the job involves handling live animals. You should not be afraid to work with your body and hands. You will also work in an environment where we lift heavier loads, so we wish that you have a good basic level of fitness. The work is carried out in darkness for the animals’ well-being. We do not require any training; the main requirement is that you are curious about your job and not afraid of new challenges. However, we require that you have not been convicted of any animal-related crimes.
Service
Part-time employment, approximately 3–4 occasions per month of 1–1.5 hours. Hourly wage, overtime compensation and loading allowance according to local agreement. Entry starting March 2026.

About Bjärefågel in Torekow AB
The family-run company Bjärefågel in Torekow AB was founded in 1986 and has existed in its current form since 2000. The product is called Bjärekyckling. From the very beginning, the focus has been on creating a non-additive chicken that is raised in a sustainable way. Bjärekyckling is also Sweden’s only climate-certified chicken. The chickens eat an entirely vegetable-based GMO-free feed that is mostly locally grown. The birds are allowed to grow slowly and have plenty of space to move around. Bjärefågel is a member of Svensk Fågel and Svenskt Sigill and follows their control and care programs. Read more at www.bjarefagel.se.
