Right now there is a lot happening at Bjärefågel and we therefore need to increase our staff. We are thinking in particular of seasonal work during the summer, but there may also be talk of longer periods. We do not require any special skills from the candidates, but we want you to be kind, curious and a morning person. We work from early morning until the afternoon every weekday.
Bjärefågel is located at the tip of the Bjäre Peninsula and is engaged in sustainable chicken farming. In our premises, we slaughter, cut up, process and pack our premium chicken, before delivering it to our customers who are wholesalers, stores and restaurants.
We usually work in teams, but there may also be individual work involved. Together, we help maintain a high work pace, working carefully with a knife or using a machine. Today, our work team consists of both men and women of different ages and with varying nationalities. To help you best integrate into the group, you need to be able to communicate in Swedish and get to work without public transport, as they do not use municipal transport to get to our workplace.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE SERVICES
Stycker
You must be 18 years old and not afraid to work with your hands and body. A certain level of experience with knives is preferable as you will be working with them a lot, but knife skills are not mandatory. You will also be working with machines that involve lifting heavy loads. We do not require any training; the main requirement is that you are curious about your job and not afraid of new challenges. You need to be prepared to take on other tasks.
Packing station
Here we receive, mark and pack all our customers’ orders. To work here, you need to be alert and quick, able to work with your body, keep many balls in the air, and have a little dexterity. If you are also a bit competitive, that doesn’t hurt either. Here you also need to be able to speak and write Swedish. Since we all belong to the same team, you shouldn’t be afraid to take on other work stations.

About Bjärefågel in Torekow AB
The family company Bjärefågel in Torekow AB was founded in 1986 and has existed in its current form since 2000. The product is called Bjärekyckling. From the very beginning, the focus has been on creating a non-additive chicken that is raised in a sustainable way. Bjärekyckling is also Sweden’s only climate-certified chicken. The chickens eat an entirely vegetable-based GMO-free feed based mostly on locally grown ingredients. The birds are allowed to grow slowly and have plenty of space to move around. Bjärefågel is a member of Svensk Fågel and Svenskt Sigill follow their control and care programs. Read more at www.bjarefagel.se.
