Our range

Chickens raised on maize develop meat with a fine structure and a mild flavour. When they are also allowed to grow at their own pace, naturally tender meat develops, entirely without the need for post-processing. You will therefore never see descriptions such as ”tenderised chicken” on Bjärefågel products – our chickens become tender through their upbringing.

When you buy Bjäre chicken, you get a product with no added ingredients. On our fresh, unprocessed products, the ingredient list simply says: chicken. That's how we think it should be.

We work not only for good products, but also actively on issues concerning animal welfare and reduced environmental impact. Our chickens are hatched, raised, slaughtered, cut and processed in Sweden. They have more space to move around in than is common in Swedish production, and all handling – including loading and unloading during transport – is done by hand.

Chicken Breast

Fresh Bjäre chicken breasts are hand-trimmed. The fine surface of the skin indicates high quality and will become beautifully crispy when cooked.

Chicken drumsticks

Fresh Bjäre chicken legs contains no back bone, which provides a high meat yield. All drumsticks are hand-trimmed by our skilled staff.

Whole chicken

Fresh whole Bjäre chicken is a perfect meal for four people. Feel free to split the chicken along the backbone and flatten it for quicker cooking.

Chicken drumsticks

Fresh Bjäre chicken drumsticks are great for both dinner and a buffet, and are a hit with children. The best way to prepare them is to marinate and grill them.

Chicken thigh fillets

Fresh Bjäre chicken thigh fillets are, according to many, the very best part of the Bjäre chicken. The cut has a higher fat content and is easy to grill or fry.

Chicken wings

Fresh Bjäre chicken Wings are delicious to marinate and grill or cook in the oven. They are particularly good at buffets.

Herb marinated Chicken Drumettes

Herb-marinated Bjäre chicken drumettes are a favourite that works well both as snacks and on the buffet.

Lightly smoked chicken breast

Lightly smoked Bjäre Chicken breast are great thinly sliced, for sandwiches or on a deli platter. The product is ready to eat.

Roast chicken stock

Our roasted Bjäre chicken stock is made from Chicken carcass and chicken neck, onion, carrot and parsnip. Lightly salted for flavour.

Chicken meatballs

Chicken meatballs made from Bjäre chicken and Swedish ingredients (excluding potato fibre and spices). Free from allergens, unnecessary additives and E numbers. The product is ready to eat. Meat content: 81 %.

THURSDAY CHICKEN

Torekorv, our chicken barbecue sausage, is made from Bjäre chicken and Swedish ingredients (excluding potato fibre and spices). The product is free from allergens and unnecessary additives. The meat content is 82 %.

Herb-marinated chicken drumsticks

Herb-marinated Bjäre chicken drumsticks are sold pre-marinated and can be cooked on a grill or in the oven. They are excellent for buffets, for example. The meat content is 97 per cent.
