After years of hopes of being able to raise a slow-growing chicken and many months of planning for its arrival, Bjärefågels’ first Rowan Ranger chickens finally arrived today. Click here to watch movie clips.
– The new bird fits into the Bjärefågels concept It involves the chicken growing at a slightly slower pace, not receiving any antibiotics, eating an entirely vegetable-based GMO-free feed with locally grown corn as the base, and having plenty of space to move around. We are very proud to be the first in Sweden to raise a slow-growing chicken, so this is a big day for us,” says Bjärefågels CEO Per-Olof Ingemarsson.
